Today, I was ever so pleasantly reminded by one of the official members of the Dex fan club that it has been too long since the last post. WELL, since Papa got back from the Keys (where he had a fantastic time, besides missing us a lot) he's been sick.
Riding in the rain did not fair well with him, or our friend John. So they are sounding scratchy, hocking loogies(I know...one of my least favorite noises), and giving the neti pot plenty of exercise. Also, the little guy has been a tad cranky too and we're wondering if another set of those darn molars are coming in. So as you may assume that all makes evenings, when I usually blog, a time for the lazy, dog tired momma to take it easy.
BUT...as has been requested...let me share a few of the recent happenings. (and I really do enjoying blogging so it's good to get back in the swing of things.)
We met up with Grandma FL for a mini-birthday celebration before she and Grandpa headed off to Cancun. She sure did love her new digital frame that we pre-loaded with tons of grandkid pics! (don't mind the background disarray in the picture! They are getting their interior repainted.) Happy Birthday young one!
A little orchid gazing at our house, while having a photo shoot with this little one that materialized from under the presser foot! (believe me there will be another post all about her...she was quite an accomplishment.)

Yet another co-op day filled with super yummies, good friends and a fun little bug discovery (a true sign of organic produce). You can't see the squirmer here, but little man is fully intrigued and inspecting. What you can see though is Dex's new amber teething necklace. We got it last Saturday with the hope that it will help soothe the aches and pains.
And to tie up this totally hodge podged post... let me bring in the cleaning crew!
Ummmm.....excuse me...you missed a spot...and don't forget to mop when you're finished...
or should I say, "Swab the deck" since it's International Talk Like a Pirate Day!
Either way...enjoy your Friday and weekend...I'll try not to stay away so long this time.
