Even though it was a week ago, I thought I would share a little Thanksgiving post.
We started the day with a little 'practice' for the big feast. Dexter set us up with quite a spread!
Papa was the lucky one that got the Turkey leg and I had steak and chocolate cake(no complaints) for my meal. Dexter opted for pizza...big surprise!
Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa FL's for the real deal. Again, quite a spread, but it was much more filling than our earlier 'meal.' It was great to enjoy time with family and so nice to see Great Grandma Elaine and Gordan! After the massive amounts of food, it was no surprise Dexter even sacked out for a few hours so we could have some adult chatting time. (Thanks to Grandpa FL for the photos!)
And of course, on returning home we had to do just a little decorating. Dexter has been obsessed with Christmas lights this year so Papa entertained him by putting up a few strings. See how hard core he is...tool belt required.
While they were busy with the festivities, I was off saving big $$ on the early Black Friday sales at CVS! In short...a new programmable coffee pot, 2 Aussie 12.5 oz conditioners and 2 tubes of Crest toothpaste all for.......$5.70.....AND...I walked out with about $12 in Extra Care Bucks. Email me if you want details...or visit IheartCVS for the inside scoop on how you can save big cash at CVS!
An eventful day filled with family fun. We sure are blessed and have so much to be thankful for!!
