Surfin' Safari

The winds and the waves were comin' in fast, but we were faster! In the car, swimsuits on, and coffee in hand by 7:15am! 

The waves at the pier were ROUGH... Then it poured down rain! We waited it out for a bit then headed back out. Rip current advisories kept the littles out of the water, but Papa got some practice... or should we say wave wrestling in. We were getting chilly so we headed home to warm up and have a nap.

THEN.... Right back out we went! The afternoon waves were 'sick', just as the park ranger informed us! The big boys surfed, little and I flew a kite, blew kisses at the shore birds and had a snack.

A sweet day of waves and sand to remember... and repeat... Often!
